with ICA FolkFest-Vancouver Island’s largest
arts festival-and the summer-long Open Air concert
series.
Rogers
Wireless and Skytel Cellular began our relationship
with FolkFest and Open Air in 2003. We quickly
signed on again for 2005, increasing our involvement
and support.
These
events do more than foster artistic expression
and cultural exploration; they also stimulate
economic development, enhance community pride,
add to Victoria’s appeal as a tourist destination
and draw people into the northeast area of downtown,
which has been battling social degradation and
decreased foot traffic for years.
